The SGNO Membership Process
You are considering joining the Société de généalogie du Nord-Ouest (SGNO). This is the beginning of great discoveries!
Anyone interested or wishing to encourage the SGNO can become a member. We accept individuals and societies.
There are several ways you can join:
One year membership
- Regular Member: $25
- Associate Member: $15
Five-year membership:
- Regular Member: $100
- Associate Member: $70
Lifetime membership:
- Regular Member: $250
- Associate Member: $250
(An associate member is a second member who lives at the same address as the member and who pays a reduced rate.)
The cost of the annual membership covers a period of 12 months from January 1 to December 31. If a member joins after October 1, membership will end on December 31 of the following year.
You can register online by creating a member account (by clicking on the BECOME A MEMBER NOW button above). This member account will allow you to register for different events, renew your subscription and buy products in our shop. You will also be able to keep your contact information up to date. In addition, this account will give you access to secure sections of our site and grant you several other privileges.
ATTENTION :
If you are already a member, you should not follow this process which allows a non-member to create a record. By using this module, you will create a new file, a new member number.
Instead for members, go to the members area (at the top of the page, on the right) to log in to your account and if it is time for you to renew your subscription you will see on the home page or by clicking on "My account » a button to renew your subscription.
